Newport's first zero waste shop

We recognise that it is not without difficulty trying to start and maintain a plastic free lifestyle in today’s world and hope that Sero Zero Waste can help the Newport community reduce their plastic waste!

We provide a space where you can reuse your containers by refilling food, personal care and household cleaning products instore. We also place an emphasis on supporting small local businesses like ourselves which is why we stock fresh local produce such as seasonal British grown fruit and veg, fresh baked goods, milk, dried flowers and more all from local businesses.

As well as a shop we want Sero to be a space where the local community can take action against waste through sustainable workshops, repair cafe's, clothes swaps and more! Check out our What's On page to see what's coming up!

Nestled between the second hand bookshop and the brew house cafe, you’ll find Tredegar House's grade II listed barn doors flung open wide to see our little shop hustling and bustling with life.

The Eco Wedding Fair - 25th Feb 2023

A place for people looking to make sustainable choices for their big day!

Sero Zero Waste and Heather Winstanley Photography have teamed up to bring you Newport's very first Eco Wedding Fair!

Held in the grade 2 listed barn on the grounds of Tredegar House, the fair will showcase local independent Welsh businesses that put sustainability at the heart of what they do with the aim of having maximum impact on your big day and minimal impact on the environment.

With everything from local florists, catering/drinks, wedding favours, decorations, games, vintage attire and more - we've got you covered!

Sero's Click and Collect Service

You can now order what you want online and pick up in store here at Tredegar House or at our official partners in the city center RE:MAKE Newport! You're welcome to drop containers off one day (to our main shop in Tredegar House) and pick up another (from Sero or RE:MAKE) or if you don't have time to drop off your containers we can pack your food in fully recyclable paper bags! If you're unable to drop off your own containers for liquid refills you will need to purchase a bottle with us. Our refillable bottles can be found here!

Clean bottles can be returned to us in store for your money back!
